Minimum stay

Minimum stay · definition
  • A minimum stay is the fewest nights a guest may book — commonly 2–3 nights — used to reduce turnover cost and filter one-night party risk.
  • Category: Calendar

The trade-off

Every extra required night excludes some travellers. High minimums suit remote markets with weekly rhythms; city flats near transit usually earn more accepting 1–2-night stays with good screening.

Smart minimums

Vary them: 7 nights in August, 2 in November, 1 to fill an orphan night between bookings. Static rules leave money in every season.
