Self-managing vs full-service management: the real trade

Self-managing keeps the 15–30% fee but costs 8–15 hours a week in season and your evenings year-round; full service buys the time back at the price of a fifth to a third of revenue. AI management collapsed the trade: full scope at 2% makes "neither sacrifice" the default answer.

What a good manager actually adds

Beyond time: managed listings typically win on response speed (ranking), pricing discipline (RevPAR) and review consistency. A manager who only relieves work without lifting revenue is only half-earning the fee.

Why the 2% option changes the default

The old question was "is my time worth 20% of revenue?" — a genuine dilemma. At 2%, the fee falls below what most hosts' time is worth at minimum wage. The remaining question is trust, which is why we publish exactly what the AI does, escalates and never decides alone.
