Writing an Airbnb description that converts lookers into bookers

Travellers skim. A converting description answers their real questions in the first three lines.

Structure that works

Line one: the benefit that makes your place worth choosing. Lines two–three: sleeping setup, location in walking-minutes, the amenity guests mention in reviews. Then detail for the readers who want it.

Words that hurt

“Cozy” (reads: small), “conveniently located” (reads: vague), exclamation marks (read: trying too hard). Name the street, the view, the walk time — concrete detail is what converts.
